MORE CASTING TECHNIQUES
Digital Casting is the preferred method for obtaining anatomic data for the prescription of custom foot orthoses and ankle foot orthoses. However, let's look at the various forms of casting with materials such as foam and plaster that got us to where we are today. Also, it's good to have some of these materials and techniques available in the the case that an obstacle arises in the moment with your patient and you are unable to complete a digital cast.
